Agile IT is a privately owned Managed Service Provider and Value Added Reseller formed in the year 2000.  Some of us have worked in a variety of IT roles since the 1980’s and we’ve learnt a thing or two in that time.

We offer a wide portfolio of Cloud and on-premise solutions based upon industry-leading technologies and best practices.  We like what we do and are excited about the improvements we can provide for our customers.

Our History

THE HISTORY OF AGILE IT

2000 - 2003

Stuart Burgess founds Agile IT and begins life as the Managed Service Provider for a range of businesses inside a multi-tenanted office suite in Aylesbury.  Agile quickly starts supplying services to other local businesses and builds a small data centre in the area.

2003 - 2006

Andrew Griggs joins Agile IT from the HBOS group.  Agile gains certifications with BlackBerry, Citrix & Microsoft and offically join the Microsoft Partner Program.  Agile is acquired by an investment group with the aim of becoming a professional services company.

2006 - 2011

Agile transfers back into private ownership and continues to build on successful relationships with companies across the UK.  Agile begin getting certifications in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and start delivering bespoke solutions on this platform.

2011 - 2019

In 2011 Microsoft released the Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), the precursor to Office 365.  Seeing the enormous potential, Agile invests in training and development across the whole hosted Microsoft stack; Azure & Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Dynamics 365 and Intune.  Shortly after, Agile starts transitioning their entire data centre operation to hosted services.

2019 - Present

Agile commits to full remote working due to the pandemic and help facilitates their clients to do the same.  Cyber Security becomes a big requirement for all organizations and Agile invests in tools and training to help users remain safe in an ever-changing world.

Stuart Burgess

Stuart Burgess

Stuart is the Founding Director and joint owner of Agile IT. Stuart has been an IT professional for over 30 years; he has been a programmer, analyst, project manager and network engineer. Today, he focuses on cloud migration strategies and helping customers get the most from their cloud investments.

Andrew Griggs

Andrew Griggs

Andrew is a Director and joint owner of Agile IT. He is responsible for techincal delivery and management of our services. He is the technical lead in the business and spends his time keeping our customers systems running at their optimum best and building bespoke solutions in Dynamics.

Elroy Williams

Elroy Williams

Elroy joined the company in 2018 and works in as Agile Helpdesk Manager. He holds an HND in Applied Pyschology is the intial point of contact for most enquiries into Agile. Elroy also dedicates part of his time to looking in to how automation and emerging technologies may be used to the benefit of our clients.
